Located on the coast of South Carolina, Bluffton is the town at the foot of the bridge leading to Hilton Head Island. Settled in 1825, as a summer resort for rice and cotton plantation owners, the town features and eclectic assortment of new development as well as historic homes,

Bluffton was named because of its position high on a bluff next to the May River. Much of Bluffton was burned during the Civil War Period. It was incorporated in 1852. Today it is a thriving area full of energy and vitality..
