Rose Hill Mansion is a pre-Civil War rice plantation house in Bluffton that offers an hour long tour highlighting period furniture, including original Kirk memorabilia, and describes the vital role of the house and its owners in Lowcountry history. Tours are conducted by either the owner or a Kirk family descendant and after the tour refreshments are served in the mansion’s dining room.
The Heyward House, CIRCA 1840, with its original slave cabin and summer kitchen, is one of only eight antebellum homes remaining in the Lowcountry coastal town of Bluffton, South Carolina. Take a guided tour of the house and grounds or pick up a map for a self-guided walking tours that will take you through the Historic District or make an appointment for a guided walking tour.
