27th Annual Hilton Head Island Wine and Food Festival Set to Kick Off!
There’s always something to do in sunny Bluffton, SC! Now that the new year is fabulously underway, and the new year’s festivities have begun to wane, local foodies and wine enthusiasts know that the best is yet to come. The 27th annual Hilton Head Island Wine and Food festival is a six day event that provides wine, spirit, and gourmet food lovers a chance to experience the best of all that nearby Hilton Head and the rest of the Lowcountry have to offer. While the festival is set to occur in March, there are several pre-festival events planned in January and February.
Wine lovers are encouraged to help Festival organizers “Uncork the Festival” Friday January 27, 2012! Bring your favorite bottle of wine to taste with friends and come out to Bomboras Grille from 5:30 – 7:30pm and help celebrate while enjoying excellent wines and gourmet hors d’oeuvres with the International Wine Judges! Then, on January 28-29, watch the judges in action at the international wine judging and competition at Sea Pines Resort. Hilton Head Island’s Wine and Food Festival is one of very few food festivals nationally which incorporate an international judging component in their competition.
